Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare

The single-player campaign is over in a flash, but the high quality of that campaign and its terrific multiplayer options make Call of Duty 4 a fantastic package.

This has got to be the best game i have ever player.

The graphics are great and the game pay is to die for “and you will die lots”. there is no need to wonder around looking for silly health packs and you hardly ever run out of ammo.

The story is gripping from start to finish and the action just never stops. One of the best things about the game is that they put you in different settings all the time you you never get bored and always have something new and exciting to do. All the weapons make a great sound and they really do feel like you are ripping those bad guys apart. Your team mates do a good job of killing the enemy and unlike most games you feel like you are part of the team and are there to help not one of these super soldiers and that only you can get the job done you work as a team and are all equal.

This game is impressive from the moment you start player and has a tone of replay potential. The only bad thing about it is that it has to end. Cant wait for call of duty 5

In short this game is just great

GameSpot digs another tidbit out of EA’s latest earnings announcement, pointing out that a release of Dragon Age is predicted for EA’s coming fiscal year, meaning BioWare’s fantasy RPG is expected sometime between the beginning of April 2008 and the end of March 2009. They also highlight a comment by EA CEO John Riccitello, who told analysts “another game based on Peter Jackson’s interpretation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s fantasy world is en route” set for release sometime in EA’s 2009 fiscal year.

    DiRT

    Racing — pcgamereader @ June 25, 2007

As a graphical showpiece, DiRT is an unbridled success. It also happens to be an entirely enjoyable rally racer.

Although rally is the speciality, but it tries to gives new feeling with new concepts and sucessed…….
So we all know the CMR rally series has been filling the needs of rally racers from year 2002. In which last title was CMR 2005. Which was thought to be the ending of the series. But it is back and with a lot of bang.

    dirt-codemaster.jpg

Now as to start its the same rally game where we have run against the time. No no no no…… You are making a mistake there besides rally there is 5 more type of offroad driving that will be CORR, Hill-climb, rally cross, cross over and rally raid. Command & Conquer Red Alert

    Strategy Games — pcgamereader @ June 23, 2007

Red Alert belongs in the same category as Civilization II and Quake, games that followed legendary predecessors and immediately eclipsed them. One can only wonder where Westwood can take us from here.

Still one of the most beloved of all RTS. The early CnC and Warcraft series carved the way ahead for all RTS games.
Any command and conquer buff or RTS fanatic would have at least played this once in his life time. CnC: Red Alert is still probably the best in the whole series. It further improved the original CnC: TD with more tweaks and threw Westwood into the lime light.

    The story is simple.

Einstein kidnapped Hitler by travelling back into time thus preventing WW2. What our brilliant scientist failed to realise that such an action caused a power vaccum in Europe, where Stalin grew in power unchecked. Without anyone to stop him or hinder his way, Stalin began his plans for a Greater Russia where he starts by invading the entire Europe. (more…)

    Dragonshard

    Strategy Games — pcgamereader @ May 6, 2006

Innovative and engaging blend of strategy and role-playing; interesting d&d setting and universe; great graphics with excellent monsters.

    dragonshard.jpg

I am a huge D&D fan, I have been playing the paper based game since I was at school, almost 20 years now! Every D&D based game that comes along, I buy and sit down and play and am left disappointed because they never quite capture the essence of the game.

“Despite all the problems, Dragonshard has a unique feel. It leverages the D&D license to create something that stands out from the me-too genre clones on the shelves.” -GameSpy

This one though surprised me, it is actually rather good and has some fine elements that will keep you entertained for quite some time.

The game is split into two portions. The first is an underground portion that has you trawling through dungeons searching for treasure and equipment and discovering new portions of the map. In contrast, the second portion is based above ground where you construct and defend your bases and troops.

A really nice feature is when you are above ground your troops spread out and gain midget henchmen that follow them around and bulk up your army somewhat. You can gather together quite an impressive looking army to stomp about. But when you move to the underground portions all the little troops merge into one character and it is them that you use to explore and fight. (more…)

Space Rangers 2: Rise of the Dominators

    Role-Playing — pcgamereader @ May 2, 2006

It has its flaws, but Space Rangers 2 remains a crazy, inspired, over-the-top, and addictive blend of gameplay.

    spaceranger.jpg

This is the best game I have played in terms of fun, addictiveness and immersion in the last year; if not two! While we get Far Cry, followed by Half Life 2, followed by F.E.A.R. which all look brilliant in any way you could think, they still are all variations on a theme. Space Rangers 2 owes it’s allegiance to the golden years of gaming not the bland one’s of today’s “clone” market. Games like Sid Meier’s Pirates, or Star Control, or even Elite.

“The name may be silly, but this brilliant space trader/combat game will have a home on your hard drive for a long time.” -GameSpy

It’s open gameplay is so refreshing, as is it’s relative simplicity. But simplicity can be deceptive. Because this game has what can only be called an ingenious interface, it let’s you handle with ease a deep, engrossing very sophisticated Galaxy teeming with life and stories. (more…)

    Condemned: Criminal Origins

    Action Games — pcgamereader @ May 1, 2006

Ferocious first-person hand-to-hand combat looks completely insane; compelling premise puts you on the trail of a deranged serial killer; morbidly unsettling atmosphere excellent presentation.

    condemned.jpg

You play as an FBI agent called Ethan Thomas,on one night you’re investigating a gruesome murder with 2 police officers.First you learn how to use you’re investigation tools. After you investigate the body, one of the police officers smells cigarette smoke. He follows the smell and comes to realize there’s a other person in the building. As you move further, the suspect manages to steal you’re gun and later on shooting the 2 police officers with you’re gun while they where trying to save you out of the hands of the suspect. Because they where shot with you’re gun,you are now the murder suspect for shooting 2 police officers and this is how the game begins…

“Condemned: Criminal Origins isn’t a long game and it only has one game mode, but it’s an unforgettable experience while it lasts.” -IGN

The graphics are amazingly good. And also they run very smooth on all daily pc’s.The lightening and shadows are nicely done and the creepy black and white effects keep you scared at all times. Also the effects when you hit someone with a melee weapon are very gore. The only thing that bothers me a little are the repetitive level designs in the beginning. Dreamfall: The Longest Journey

    Adventure — pcgamereader @ April 25, 2006

A continuation of one of the most compelling stories ever told through a game.

    dreamfall.jpg

I started playing this game for about 4 days ago, and now I’m trough. I have to say that it sure is a great game to play. Both for those who did play TLJ, and those who didn’t. This game includes so many wonderful moments, puzzles, conversations, in-game movies, and a lot of other things.

“Let’s be upfront about this: in modern terms, Dreamfall has little gameplay. But in this case, that concern is almost totally irrelevant.” -Yahoo! Video Games

What i found to be the most negative thing about the game (and almost the only one) was the ending. I’m not going to say what happens in the end, but i found it really disappointing.

There’s only one other negative thing, that’s the voice casting. Not all of the voices are that great as they where in TLJ 1, but also in Dreamfall, you may find some of the characters intresting to interact with. (more…)

    Tomb Raider Legend

    Adventure — pcgamereader @ April 11, 2006

Best in the series, amazing gameplay, almost flawless. Highly recommended.

    tombraider.jpg

Its been a while since the last Tomb Raider, and to be honest - it sucked. So did pretty much all the others since Tomb Raider 2. So this left people quite apprehensive of the latest game. However, I am quite glad to say that Tomb Raider Legend not only lives up to, but surpasses most peoples expectations.

“If you’ve been pining for a good adventure, Tomb Raider: Legend is waiting for you.” -IGN

You are thrust into the game in a search for lost fragments of a legendary sword. You visit such interesting, varied and great-looking environments as Peru, England, Kazakhstan, and even Tokyo. You can shoot the hell out of people with your trademark pistols while doing ‘neo’ moves through the air. You even ride across rooftops with a Ducati Motorbike. The moves in tomb raider are, as is expected, fantastic. And the animations for these moves are even more so. The real problem with Legend though, is that its short. It took me exactly 6 hours and 56 minutes to complete the game (thats not including the time afterward collecting all the extras in her mansion though).
