Racing — pcgamereader @ June 25, 2007

As a graphical showpiece, DiRT is an unbridled success. It also happens to be an entirely enjoyable rally racer.

Although rally is the speciality, but it tries to gives new feeling with new concepts and sucessed…….
So we all know the CMR rally series has been filling the needs of rally racers from year 2002. In which last title was CMR 2005. Which was thought to be the ending of the series. But it is back and with a lot of bang.

MX vs. ATV Unleashed

Racing — pcgamereader @ March 1, 2006

A fast-paced and fun-filled arcade racing game, loaded with enough variety of modes and unlockable content to keep you engaged for quite a while

mxatv.jpg

The National things and the Supercross things are fun but with the practice laps, Which is always good to do so you know when you should pre load or not and when the turns come. Then there is the heat laps and then the final which doing all of this takes a long time and makes you do some of the race with 5 laps so you do 15 laps all together. Which is really boring.

I haven’t played any of the airborne races but of what I’ve heard they sound annoying. Another thing is with the other machines like the buggy and the monster it seems for me that on a track that you mostly go on with a MX or a ATV it is really hard to go on with the other machines. I have no control.

“We recommend sticking to the console versions, unless you yearn to make courses with the editor and share them with friends.” -IGN

For me it has the best soundtrack I’ve seen in a while. And also the engine sounds and environment sounds are awesome. You can make it so there is super high engine sounds and no music or lots of music and no engine sounds. So you can make it how you want it.

TOCA Race Driver 3

Racing — pcgamereader @ February 26, 2006

70 licensed cars, 80 licensed tracks, and more than 35 disciplines of racing..

Worth its release cost, a must have for PCGaming racers. Its got slightly dissapointing graphics, however, this makes it run smooth even on older systems when u set them down. The ppl could be better than 2D on a 21st Century game title i must admit! The sound is good, and pulls you in with lush clear sound! Has a superb game setup program, where u can customise ALL the graphics options and sound clarity. It gives you a little sound demo, and lets you see how much processor its using, sweet!

“As it stands, Race Driver 3 suffers from too much variety and not enough substance.” -1UP

The cars are great! Everyone i shows this to instantly wants to see the Monster Truck races! They are the best!!! Worth its RRP, a great classic racer!

Need for Speed Most Wanted

Racing — pcgamereader @ February 26, 2006

This game is worth every cent. The graphics, sound and game play are excellent. The cut scenes are fun to watch. Just wish they were more (that would make EA spent more money I guess). This game is totally better than NFS Underground 2 which I liked but not as much as this one. The menu is different and attractive.

Out running the police is fantastic. You can total their vehicles by hitting them or objects that would make them crash. If they are too many of them, you may need to get to a hide out. Anything to get away. This is the beauty of this game.

The game is the same as others, beat the other drivers. When you begin the game you would have a nice BMW but don’t get used to it because you would not have it long. You have to win races that would make you move up the blacklist (15 in all) in order to take out the guy that sabotage your ride, whom you first competed against. He is the one that took your ride but no need to worry, you will be taking other people vehicles too when you win races.

There is nothing more to be said about this game but play it.

About this game

Wake up to the smell of burnt asphalt as the thrill of illicit street racing permeates the air. From the makers of the hit Need for Speed Underground series, Need for Speed Most Wanted challenges players to become the most notorious and elusive street racer.

“Most Wanted is great fun, from its hysterical cutscenes to its extremely tense police chases.” -GameSpot

Combining illicit street racing and tuner customization with the intensity of strategic police pursuit that surpasses any Hollywood-style chase scene, Need for Speed Most Wanted will be on every gamer’s ‘must-have’ list this holiday season. Out-race rivals, evade cops and exploit hundreds of miles of open road as gamers make their way up the Blacklist.
